Rise Up Scholars Program

ABOUT

The Rise Up Scholars program sponsors students from local high schools to come into a research lab at CWRU or Cleveland Clinic during the summer to work with professional scientists. Students that are interested in the program apply for the position and are selected after review by the Rise Up leadership team. Each selected students receives a stipend to compensate for their time spent in the lab and for travel costs. Scholars will have the unique opportunity to see how a professional lab works and to learn techniques and skills that are not possible in a classroom setting.
